Type 2 Diabetes

Type 2 Diabetes is the most common form of diabetes.    A quick definition of type 2 diabetes is when the body does not make enough insulin or the insulin it makes does not work the way it should.  Many millions of Americans have been diagnosed with this disease and there are many others that are living with type 2 diabetes and don't even know it. Type 2 diabetes seems to be more common in certain ethnic groups than others as well as the elderly population.
